Isometric World: Into The Matrix

Posted by LJTLegendaryL - March 4th, 2018

Isometric World: Into The Matrix is a video game idea I've had in my head and have been working on for quite a while, however I was never satisfied with the style and models of the game. One day when I was working on the game, my hard drive decided to to give up on me and kill itself.

Thankfully, I had the main charcter model backed up with all previous animations, however they were pretty bad, so I removed ALL the animations, updated the armeture, and gave "Him" a new look.

I am currently working on the NEW and IMPROVED version of the game, it will have a better interface, a clean UI, easy controls, new songs, new features, and a more stabilized famerate.

In this game you play as 15 Yr Old Cole Andrews, a guy who managed to bring VR to the next level by creating a machine that actually puts the player into the game, everything was going well until his sister came in and activated it by accident. Thanks to that mistake, he got sucked in and tried to leave the game but the exit machine malfunctions and now he has to find all the pieces to fix and rebuild the machine to exit the game. You will travel through many unique areas, interact with NPC's and other Non-Animate objects as if they were real people, collect lots of secret and useful items, build relationships with characters, solve puzzles, do parkour, play music, fight hackers, alter your interaction with the enviornment, and become one with the matrix to collect all the pieces and finish the game.

At the moment, I am working on finishing the basics so that I can actually work on level design.

Wish me luck as I develop, program, and design the game ^^.
